Sterling European Airlines is a Danish company, that cannot leave any European spotter without interest. They recently have began coloring their aircrafts in an interesting way (see below). They seem to have good leasing agreements with other companies as well.

Belgians will remember the one or two sterling 727s coming into the Sobelair charter fleet during a recent summer and there is no doubt that there is a agreement between Sterling and Britannia to have some Sterling planes under full or partial Britannia colors (see below).

The fleet is composed of a series of older 727s and of a series recent 737s (also new generation). The 727s are mainly operated for TNT cargo in TNT colors scheme. OY-SEZ was used until the fall of '99 for passenger transportation but has been converted to freighter as well.

There was some kind of a Danish invasion on the Gran Canaria on November 13th '99, where the most of the high colored new 737s could be seen among a continuous flow of Premiair and Maersk Air planes.
